  Magic collectable card game rules

Magic collectable card game traditionally known as “The Gathering” was created by a mathematician, Richard Garfield and was introduced in 1993 by the Wizard of the Coast, which is an American games publisher. It boasts over six million players in over 70 different countries. The Magic collectable card game is built on certain rules that basically come under categories like the game which includes rules on how to start the game, winning and losing, and the magic golden rules. The second set of rules is about the parts of the game like the characteristics, the names, illustrations, type line, mana cost, zone token life, loyalty, and colour among others.

The third set of rules in the Magic collectable card game is about the Turn structure, Spells, Abilities, and Effects that include beginning phase, draw step, main phase, untap step, upkeep step, beginning of combat step, declare attackers step, end of combat step, and more. The fourth set includes additional riles like Legal Attacks and Blocks, Keyword Actions, Keyword Abilities, Face-Down Spells and Permanents, Split Cards, Controlling Another Player's Turn, and flipping a coin. The last is the multi player rules that include Limited Range of Influence Option, Attack Multiple Players Option, Attack Left and Attack Right Options, Two-Headed Giant Variant, Two-Headed Giant Variant etc.

These set of rules apply to any Magic game that involves two or more than two players. In a constructed play, each player is required to have his or her own deck that contains at least sixty cards. The players of Magic collectable card game also require small items to represent any tokens and counters, and some way to clearly track life totals. A constructed deck is allowed to have any number of basic land cards and not more than four of any card with a particular English name other than basic land cards. There is also no maximum size that a deck should have.
